What is My Sports Memory?
MySportsMemory is a company that strives to preserve meaningful sports moments that can be displayed in your home, office, library or man-cave. Whether it's the iconic debut game of Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier in 1947, the unforgettable 60-point farewell in Kobe Bryant's final game in 2016, or a sentimental game like your daughter's first experience in a big league ballpark, MySportsMemory is here to capture it for you. The idea for MySportsMemory was born on a sunny day in San Diego's Petco Park in 2013 when my son was only 18 months old. A day he will never remember became one I will never forget. I wanted to preserve the memory of that day in a way that was both stylish and informative, going beyond merely saving the ticket stub or the program and stashing them in a drawer somewhere to be forgotten. That's when MySportsMemory came to be.
Baseball is a game that is steeped in tradition with an almost romantic connection to its numbers and statistics from the past. The box score is a statistical representation of a game. Before the advent of television and 24-hour highlights, people relied on the newspaper's box scores to learn about what happened on the field. What once was the main source of information to explain what transpired on the field, can now be an attractive showcasing of your favorite sports moment and a great conversation piece. It's perfect for fans who wants to preserve a memory of their favorite player, team, moment, or in my case, a day they never want to forget. Whether it's your first date, your son's first ballgame, your first hole-in-one, or the last game you watched with your Dad, MySportsMemory will capture it for you.
MySportsMemory currently preserves your favorite baseball, football, basketball, golf, and even tennis moments. If you're a fan of a different sport, simply give us the details of the game or match you want to remember, and we can make that happen for you too.
